I love hosting these link parties! It is so great to see all the amazing things everyone has been working so hard on, so THANKS for linking up! This week's party is brought to you by your Stencils. As much as I like to think I am the creative type, I can not free hand anything to save my life! That is where my love of stencils comes in. For a short while I had a Sillhouette stencil cutting machine and loved it. When it broke, I did not want to invest the money to buy another one (that may change really soon). I've come up with many different tecniques for making my own in orfer to get the job done. It is the hugely popular graphic design pattern that is popping up everywhere from fashion to home decor. I love how simple and clean it is. It has a natural organic feel when paired paired with neutrals or a fun teen feel when matched with brights. Building your own chevron pattern can be tricky so if you are thinking about adding it to a project, check out a layout I made on my chevron rug post.
